To apply online within a period of 60 days from the commencement of the Act or date on which the establishment commences its business. But, it excludes those who are already in possession of valid registration or renewal certificates. The registration certificate is valid maximum. for a period of 10 years. Application in Form A Certificate in Form B to be given within 7 working days.
Means an establishment which carries on, any business, trade, manufacture or any journalistic or printing work, or business of banking, insurance, stocks and shares, brokerage or produce exchange or profession or any work in connection with, or incidental or ancillary to, any business, trade or profession or manufacture; and includes establishment of any medical practitioner (including hospital, dispensary, clinic, polyclinic, maternity home and such others), architect, engineer, accountant, tax consultant etc.
It is in Form D. Renewed Certificate in Form E to be given within 7 working days.
Means any person (except an apprentice under the Apprentices Act, 1961) employed to do any manual, unskilled, skilled technical, operational or clerical work for hire or reward, whether the terms of employment be express or implied. Part time worker will work not more than 5 hours a day but entitled for wages proportionately with 15% rise.
Only work between 7.00 a.m. to 9.30 p.m. But can work with her consent 9.30 p.m. to 7.00 a.m. with adequate security and safeguard etc. as prescribed.
Establishments with less than 10 workers are excluded from registration. Only online intimation is sufficient.
8 days CL with wages in every calendar year. Leave with wages 1 day for every 20 days of work for previous calendar year. Leave of 5 days for 60 days of work. Accumulation of EL allowed for 45 days. If refused right to encashment. Festival holidays 8 days. Leave book is in Form O.
Establishments with less than 10 workers are excluded from registration. Only online intimation is sufficient.
Intimation of closing of business within 30 days from the date of closing in Form J. For those less than 10 in Form K.
Health and Safety and Welfare Committee representing employer and workers is to be constituted where 100 or more workers are ordinarily employed.
